Damrix Plastics supplies certified engineering plastics to Canadian and US manufacturers. We do not mould, extrude or machine material ourselves — our function is to source the correct grade from certified manufacturing partners and deliver it with the documentation your quality system requires.
What we do
In a food, pharmaceutical or high-duty industrial line, the polymer choice is inseparable from the paperwork behind it. A grade that performs mechanically but cannot be evidenced against NSF 51, USP Class VI or FDA 21 CFR 177 is not usable.
We work upstream of that problem. Inquiries are reviewed against operating temperature, chemical exposure, load case and the certifications your quality system requires, then matched to a specific grade from a partner whose manufacturing quality system is certified to a recognised standard.
Our customers are procurement teams, maintenance engineers and quality officers who need the same grade, from the same certified source, with the same documentation set — release after release. That repeatability is the product.
Compliance position
Damrix is a distributor. We do not hold manufacturing certifications ourselves and we do not present partner certifications as our own. Materials are sourced through manufacturing partners certified to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 13485:2016, and certificates of conformance with full lot traceability are provided with every order.
Operating practice
Four practices define how a Damrix programme runs. They exist because grade drift and missing documentation are the two failures that cost a validated line the most.
Sourcing
We source to a named grade, not a generic polymer description. Where an application depends on a specific additive package, filler loading or extrusion process, the grade is fixed on the order and carried forward on every release.
Traceability
Every shipment is issued with a certificate of conformance referencing the manufacturing lot. Lot records are retained so a component in service can be traced back to its production batch years after delivery.
Validation
For validated environments, sample material is supplied with its documentation set for in-process trial before a production quantity is released. Grade substitution mid-programme does not happen without written approval.
Continuity
Scheduled programmes are held against forecast so a qualified grade remains available. Where a partner discontinues a grade, we notify in advance rather than substituting silently.

Documented programme write-ups are in preparation and will be published here once customer approval for release has been obtained.
