Industrial and OEM supply across the full catalogue
Broad-catalogue supply and scheduled release programmes for machine builders, maintenance groups and contract machine shops. Wear, bearing, structural and electrical-insulation duty, quoted against the operating conditions rather than a part number alone.

Supply chain standards
The standards we require from our supply chain
For industrial duty the governing requirements are quality-system consistency, declared material composition and, where the part is electrical or enclosed, a flammability rating that survives inspection.
Certifications listed are held by certified manufacturing partners in our supply chain. Damrix is a distributor and does not hold manufacturing certification.
Sector requirements
How industrial duty is specified
Most premature failures we review trace back to one of the four variables below being assumed rather than stated.
REQ 01
PV limit
Bearing and bushing life is governed by pressure-velocity product, not load alone. Self-lubricating and filled grades extend the usable envelope.
REQ 02
Thermal expansion
Plastics move considerably more than the steel they mount to. Running clearance is calculated against the full temperature range, not ambient.
REQ 03
Moisture and fit
Cast nylon absorbs moisture and grows. Where tolerance is critical over long service, acetal or PET-P is specified in its place.
REQ 04
Stock continuity
Repeat requirements are held under a release schedule so grade, supplier and colour remain consistent across production batches.
Qualifying materials
Grades applied in this sector
The full catalogue is available for industrial duty, including grades without food-contact or biocompatibility documentation where the application does not require it.
- PA6 / PA66 / PA12DMX-EN-204
Tough, impact-resistant bearing and structural material; grade selection is driven by moisture uptake and load duty.
FDA (select grades)EU 10/2011 (select grades) - POM-C / POM-HDMX-EN-203
The general-purpose precision machining material — tight tolerance hold, low moisture uptake and consistent stiffness.
FDANSF 513-A DAIRY - UHMW-PEDMX-EN-201
Highest abrasion resistance of any thermoplastic with very low friction; the default wear material for food conveying and bulk material handling.
FDANSF 513-A DAIRY - PET-PDMX-EN-205
Higher stiffness and better dimensional stability than acetal, with good wear performance in dry running conditions.
FDANSF 51EU 10/2011 - PPSDMX-HP-103
Dimensionally stable, chemically inert semi-crystalline material with essentially no known solvents below 200 °C.
FDANSF 51 (select grades)UL 94 V-0 - PAI / TORLON-typeDMX-HP-102
Highest strength and stiffness of the melt-processable thermoplastics; retains mechanical properties to 260 °C.
FDA (select grades)RoHS - PCDMX-EN-207
Transparent, high-impact material for machine guarding, sight windows and viewing panels.
FDA (select grades)UL 94 V-2CSA-recognised guarding - PVC-U / CPVCDMX-GP-301
Rigid, chemically resistant and economical for fluid handling and fabricated ducting; CPVC extends the temperature range.
NSF 61 (select grades)UL 94 V-0 - G-10 / FR-4 / PHENOLICDMX-GP-304
Glass and canvas reinforced thermoset laminates for structural insulation and high-compression wear duty.
NEMA LI-1UL 94 V-0 (FR-4)
Documentation
What ships with the material
Documentation scales to the application. Standard industrial orders ship with a certificate of conformance and lot identification; machined components can carry a dimensional inspection report on request.
